You won't be dissapointed. It's one of the best if not THE best synchronized Christmas light show in the country. He uses over 200,000 LED lights.
I wonder if the MWC park expanded their musical lights show from last year.
Automobile Alley, Chesapeake/Western area
I have mine up and going, 930 NW 19th OKC.

I also have a list of most of the other animated displays in the area including chucks mentioned above at:http://mestalights.com/links.html
Downs Family Christmas has a new video up!
We rented a Limo this year. VIP limo I believe. I figured I would let someone else do the driving this year for a change.
My main goal for December is to put together 2 or 3 videos for my blog's annual "Christmas present," along with some other stuff. Among other things, I intend to focus on Christmas lights including my neighborhood (same as yours), Heritage Hills, downtown and Bricktown. Soooo ... if you see some short fat old geezer who (some say) looks like Santa Claus near your house sometime during the next 7 days taking videos or photographs, don't shoot him 'cause It will be me. I look forward to talking with you at your convenience.
Be sure to take a tour thru Del City at night to view the snowflakes on the street light poles.
I enjoy the lights. My dad used to drive us around to see them, every year and those are happy memories.
Do any of the old timers remember back in the day when, as an energy saving measure, people voluntarily refrained from doing the light displays? It may have been during the gas rationing era - 70's. Took several years for people feel like they could put out lights without looking like they were wasting energy.
went by and saw yours last night .. . it was great as always .. we look forward to seeing them every year!
Chickasha is always impressive...not a far drive. We take hot cocoa in a thermos and sip it along the way. http://www.chickashafestivaloflight.com/
Chickasha is underwheming. You can go to Yukon and see about the exact same thing at that park just off I-40. If you want an impressive light viewing, drive around the Chesapeake campus/Western Area as well as Automobile Alley. Better lights and less of a drive and traffic. Also I noticed last night that Chesapeake added LED lights going up their cranes in both green and red colors. Pretty impressive in addition to the hundreds of trees decked out in LED lights.
My 2010 Christmas post is up, but not finished. Thus far, video focus is on Mesta Park, Heritage Hills, and St. Anthony's, together with a video clip of the background tune from Love Actually which provides the background music for all videos in the post. I'll be adding downtown and Bricktown shortly, and maybe one or two Jib Jabs.
A few of the still photos are shown below.

OKC frickin' Failed! The other night, I was driving by downtown and....uhh...total darkness. :-(
Why is OKC so weak?! "Oh, constructions on the Devon Tower, the Gardens, the streets...Oh my! No lights this year!"
Totally pathetic, seriously. OKC has no spirit.
Bricktown has some lights, but missing a whole bunch of trees along the canal, even the area south of the highway.
must.... resist.....nasty.....comment....
I know how you feel. Make me really angry that OKC is showing the world that the city is not celebrating the time of year. Other than the crosses on the buildings (which is not under the city's control), there is nothing that I see showing OKC celebrating the season. I guess they are relying on businesses and homeowners to light up. Nothing from the city.

wow, sorry someone dropped a lump of coal in your britches.
