Default Gaberino's Family Style Italian Dining

Never heard of this place but I saw it was packed last night as I was leaving Borders - it's tucked into a storefront in that curved strip center directly behind Pier 1 and across from the Sam's parking lot - can't find anything on the internets about it (but maybe I'm misspelling something) - anyway, does anyone know anything about it?

    TIA

    your pal,

Haven't known of it. Appreciate the head's up. We've lacked decent Italian in town, in my opinion anyway, since Marco's came and went. Hmmm, wonder what the lovely has planned for tonight or tomorrow?

We have eaten there twice...excellent food! Very much like Victoria's Pasta Shop.

The food was good, though the portions are on the small side relative to price of the meal. Salad is not included with the dinner. Lemon sorbet was excellent and they serve real cream with the coffee.

The OU student newspaper reviewed the place: http://tinyurl.com/34rryp6

They just opened 2 weeks or so ago. Limited menu, but the food was good. The location is small, so there is limited seating.

We ate there the Tuesday night (Nov 23). The staff was was friendly; the service prompt; the food was very tasty. The spinach artichole dip was very good. We'll go back.

Avoid the Chicken Parmasean. Not very good when I had it about 2 weeks ago. The meatballs are awesome, though.

We went last weekend and weren't very impressed with our main courses, but their garlic cheese bread was good.
