Map of OKC districts?

Does anyone know where I can find an online map that shows all the districts of OKC? I'm looking for something that shows how things are arrayed that have designated areas [like Asian District, Plaza District, etc.] as well as neighborhoods [like Crown Heights, Capitol Hill, Gatewood, etc.]. I would love to see one for the entire City. I've seen such maps for other cities, but don't know if we have one. Is there such a map for OKC?

I'm pretty sure no such map is available online, and it may not exist at all. A map with all that info would include dozens of districts, many of them overlapping.

Platemaker and I have a few such maps, and I'd post them, but I'm too intimidated by metro and bombermwc and his cohorts who would accuse me of pushing my own content.

Yeah I was going to post some of Spartan's such maps but The one's I saw were of innercity districts and neighborhoods and not The entire city of OKC like old okie wanted!I would like to see such a map as well!

Wow, thanks, George. This is what I was wanting to see. Just fascinating. There is quite a bit of overlap, but more telling is the lack of cohesiveness, or "unidentified" area, on the map. I thought maybe the various additions [like Rose Creek or Rivendell, as examples] would also have been shown, but apparently no one has really put such a defined map together.

This one is good, though. Good find!

Cool map. One question though, why is Capitol Hill south of the river when the actual capitol is on NE23? Is it because back in the day it was the only hill you could see the Capitol from on the southside of the river?

I don't know if this helps, but on Google Maps if you zoom in far enough it does show neighborhood names, and for the most part its pretty good. Obviously it doesn't show the exact boundaries, and some of the neighborhood names are either way out of date or off the wall (who's ever heard of the area known as "Watchful Eyes" on the southside?) If you are looking for a neighborhood a specific house is in you also may want to try the assessor's interactive map.

What you guys really need to find are the Oklahoma City Plat maps. Then have those overlayed with marketing names like Automobile Alley, SOSA, Bricktown, etc.

Even more mystery. Mesta Park was first called University Park. The University at the heart of Univeristy Park was Epworth University, which was relocated and renamed Oklahoma City University.

In short, the name came from the Mesta family. Pearle Mesta being one of the notable women who was one of OKC's most prominent socialites at the time.

Although it seems like the CBD is a block or two short. shouldn't it go up to 4th street (or does it correctly show on the map? I can't tell).
