Surprised there hasn't been more written on this event.
Me too. This is a really fun event.
Will someone please tell the Daily Oklahoman that the name of the parade is "Gazette's Ghouls Gone Wild". They seem to have a fear of printing the word Gazette. I thought a newspaper had an obligation to get the facts correct.
I went to the parade last year and really enjoyed it. This year the O.U. Missouri game starts at 7:00 p.m. I, and others will probably miss the parade this year. Bummer.

The game is more important than the parade. Their fault for scheduling it on the 23rd. They would do better if its on the 30th.
Having some strategically placed big screen TV's along the parade route wouldn't hurt.
Hope those who choose to go wild parade style have a blast!
My fav ghoul and I will be enjoying the game with some others from the fam.
Crap, the weather is not looking good for the parade tonight. Severe thunderstorms moving up from the South.
Went to the parade with the wife and some friends. We set up at NW 10 & Harvey.
Parade was fun and well attended. Had some drama when an elderly looking lady rolled off the back of a yellow Saturn convertible that was in the parade. Everything stopped for a bit until they got her loaded into an ambulance. Wayne Coyne's giant ball he's always in deflated and had to be re-inflated again.
After the parade we all went and ate at the new Kaisers Bistro (total ripoff).

Saw the parade from my window at home. Looks like a fantastic time had by all. If I knew OU was going to lay an egg, I would have come out and watched it.
I was there and really enjoyed the parade again. I do wish some of the businesses had bigger signs on their floats, but it was a lot of fun.
When he was on TV decades ago--even Bazark was afraid of Count Gregore!
