Moore HS is currently in 5th place in Pepsi's Refresh Everything contest. The top 2 spots each receive $250k for their project. The Moore HS project is an outdoor learning center featuring a stone amphitheater with seating for 250. Voting ends October 31. Please take a couple minutes to vote and help Moore HS win. I voted for it, why not help a local school out...but it seems a little odd to me. I believe PC North has a less spectacular version on their campus...and it's never used. I think people eat lunch on it and that's about it.

There's only so much to do with 250K, but that campus could use a lot of help in the landscaping department. I really wish Moore PS would spend some cash to update the general ed buildings and pull them out of the no-window 60's classroom style. Ugh. My boys are going to end up going there one day, so I'm crossing my fingers they continue to improve the place before then.

I don't think they'll win, but it's a cool idea, and perhaps it can bring more attention to the proposal?
