I believe that the level where the windows have started is the 3rd level. Doesn't it match with the 3rd floor on the east podium? The second floor of the tower might just be a BSc floor for the high ceiling in the ground level. All the other levels up to the sixth floor look to match with podium floors.

Just drove by the site on I-40. The number 2 crane has the lifting jack in position at the top now.

That was my point of the earlier post, The first floor that has glass just above the double height floor is floor #3, as you stated, and yes they match up with the podium floors.

Awesome thanks for the update! Its about time they made the jump! I can't wait to see how high the crane will be once it is in position!

Saw that the Main Place Tower in Houston (also by Pickard Chilton), has similar/same glazing system as Devon Tower with the transluscent vertical fins on one side of the building. The remainder of the building has horizontal transluscent glass elements......will be interesting to see if this building has the same lighting proposed for Devon, as Main Place is currently nearing completion.

Note the vertical fins on this side of building......look familiar?

The vertical fins do look quite familiar but the night time rendering of Main Places does not indicate that the vertical fins are lit up.

Correct, the main place website calls the vertical and horizontal elements glass sunshades.....glass can have some shading properties with less transparency and more reflectivity. Is the glass used for sunshading for aesthetics as well, perhaps lighting?

Devon tower renderings dont indicate any glass fins illuminating either....

    Interesting...........

Crane #2 looks to be about equal in height to #1 right now.

When I drove by a bit ago #2 was indeed equal to #1 with another section still hanging on the boom.

I just got back from the site and I was able to see crane extensions going in. You can see a few more pics here.

I was thankful for 12X optical zoom

Fantastic photos Kinggober! Thanks for taking the time, this makes up for the lack of having the tower cam up an working, although now that crane #2 is now being raised we will not be able to see the crane top unless the camera is moved.

The formed out rectagular boxes on the left hand side must be where the framework of the rotunda will bolt into.

You can, however, see them from downtown Tulsa.

Judging from what I can see over near 44 and Hefner Parkway, Crane 2 is smack dab between the Oklahoma Tower and Chase in height.

Any info when the cam will be back-up?

    First reply 3 1/2 hours later, I'd say no. I think it's a conspiracy!

Sorry gang. For some weird reason we can't upload images to our web server.

I can only access from my iPhone.

Hope to have resolved in a day or two.

The tower is actually a lot closer. The phone is making it appear further away. Drive by and you will see how massive it is.

Thanks Kinggober...you always seem to come through with images right about the time I am about to crack with desperation since the camera has been down. I realize now how much I must be on here just checking in for interesting shots of things transpiring on the web cam! That is probably not as good, as I am sure it takes up much more time than I realize. Thanks again for keeping me sane and sharing a glimpse of what it looks like from the the top of the Oklahoma Tower. Some how the tower seems much taller from that perspective.

I was wrong , as you can see from kinggober's above picture from the Skyline cam, that the east tower crane can be seen still. Sorry about that .
