Time to hit the practice field Sooners. The week after that it's time for the Texas State Fair, and we ain't gonna win if we play Tex-ass like we played Air Force.

Spoken like a Sooner fan, looking past the next opponent.

No opponent is as important as Texas, just ask Barry Switzer.

That's not really a fair statement. We are very familiar with anything Texas will do on both sides of the ball. That's not saying we played well against Air Force just that I don't think you can make judgements based on that. People were saying the same thing after Utah State and then reversed field after Florida State. Texas hasn't exactly looked like world beaters this year. Their defense has been good but they're going to have to bring it up a notch also in order to win.

I continue to be impressed with Landry...he has the spark to rally his team and is getting better at it weekly--something Sam Bradford--for all his amazing talents--never really showed and thus a number of BIG games slipped through his fingers. The boys should do great against Texas...wait and see...BTW--Air Force is a pretty goods team...watch how they do this season...and remember...a guy named Colt graduated...

Agreed, it will be a great game. I just don't think you resident Okies understand the pressure we Okie expatriates in Texas are under. If OU loses, you guys have a whole state full of people who sympathize with you. If OU loses, we take s**t from Longwhore fans for a whole year.

Texans are saying the same down in Austin.

OU's defense has seen a high powered passing and elusive quarterback in Utah State and a high powered wishbone running attack in Air Force.

    OU will be ready!

It will be up to the OU offense and Landry Jones to take the game if they (offensive line) can give him time to throw and he takes enough time to plant his feet and throw off the right foot.

    Oklahoma will defeat:

    Cincinnati 31 - 21

    Texas 28 - 17

What did you take the DeLorean to the year 2015 and buy a sports almanac?

I get less crap living here in the middle of them than I did living in Dallas. It seems the further they get away from Austin the more obnoxious they get.

You would have been better off living in Houston where there is a more enthusiastic Sooner fan base and Alums of true 'Okies' (those who left Oklahoma), just those die hearts who lap with hunger to beat TEXAS!

Notice how the Oklahoma fans fill their half of the Cotton Bowl with enthusiastic vigor long before the Longhorn faithfuls come trickling in dressed in that tired 'burnt orange,' looking as though they should have sent the who bands attire to the cleaners and you talk about country; the Texas fans are sold cold, it didn't take a the smartest person to figure out why the "Cow jumped over the Moon," those cold hands would have made any cow or steer jump to unimaginable heights.

There are a ton of Sooners in the DFW area and many more than most people think here in Austin.

I would love to go to this game and experience Paul Brown Stadium.
