I am so excited that we are having such a glorious sunny day for all of our visitors here in town -
I can't wait for tonight and I got a new camera with extra batteries!
'Our future's so bright - we gotta wear shades!'
GO HORNETS!

" You've Been Thunder Struck ! "
Doug and Metro, Decious - and everyone else who is going tonight - I'm so glad you will be there tonight!
This is from The Oklahoman. Gave me goose bumps.
"It all starts tonight, when you can dream about a simple home victory that would put OKC atop the NBA standings.
That’s what makes Opening Night special even in the burgs that have had pro basketball for 60 years. A fresh start. A new beginning.
“I think it’s going to be a good atmosphere,” new Hornet Desmond Mason said. “You always want to get the season off on a right note.”
Coach Byron Scott, who has opened seasons in the same lineup with Kareem and Magic, said he gets “just as excited” coaching openers as he did playing them. “I get juiced. I got that intensity going.”
How much more so for a place making its maiden voyage? Oklahoma City never again will have a night like tonight. The cultural phenomenons that became OU football grew in stages, evolved from even before statehood through Bennie and Bud and Barry and Bob. The passion for OSU basketball stems from Henry Iba days in the Depression.
There was no definable starting point. Not so with pro basketball. A big bang hit Oklahoma City in 2005, and we are here to see it.
Hopefully, the Hornets will stay, but whether it’s them or another franchise that plays here, OKC never again will have an NBA debut. Tonight’s the night.
The streets will sing tonight. Bricktown will bubble. Maybe, just maybe, the scoreboard will cooperate.
The City will shine. "
Yeah Baby....
" You've Been Thunder Struck ! "
I can't believe OKC is now in the big time. This is it! Bricktown/Ford Center are going to be rocking tonight!
Yeah! Whether we win or lose ... but if we win .... I cannot imagine how everyone will be freakin' out ... better have doctors nearby!Originally Posted by DrewForSooners
