1990 Nintendo World Championships

20 yrs ago, on Saturday June 9th, 1990..Nintendo held its "Nintendo World Championships" at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds in the Kitchens of America Building.

I attended it, but was curious to know if anyone else on here also attended this event??

(wish Nintendo would bring them back...that was a beyond fun and memorable day)

Wow I completely forgot about that!! I remember waiting in line to play Super Mario 3 that day at one of the kiosks.

I didn't know they had that here. I was into super mario at that time, but don't remember that. I would have been 17.

i attended it. wow, talk about a long time ago! so much has changed. i remember all the gameboy and nes kiosks.

I never went but I remember that day, and I would have given my left testicle to go to that, anyone have an old pics to scan of that event?
