Unless I am mistaken, I remember the Classen Traffic Circle was eliminated for safety concerns. If that's true, why do they have 2 new circles within blocks of each other, one east and one west of St. Anthony's Hospital?

The Classen Circle had serious design flaws, if properly built, they can and do reduce accidents and increase traffic flow.

In the 1960s and 70s Classen Traffic Circle had the highest number of accidents per location in the state.

I remember because I did an extra report in Mr. Pigg's class about the Classen Traffic Circle and received the highest score given in that class.

Thanks. That was him. I liked him but one of my driving partners put us in a backyard once. There was no damage but scared the hell and of me and JoLynn . I think you were her sisters age. That was a long 9 weeks or however long we actually drove.
