    Hey!
I need a reputable stainless steel craftsman who can hammer my radiator
shell so it looks new. It's got the usual dents and dings from gravel and
road debris. We are having a hard time. The man rebuilding the car won't
let it out of his shop unless it's 100% awesome. I thought it was 200%!
    WOW!

Please, not the usual guys in the phone book. If it needs to shipped to
Bulgaria we'll do it. Get it? Real live old school craftsmen.

Oh, Gen64, you're going to have to have a huge garage sale to pay for
this. Thanks for offering to pay for everything. Besides, it was your big
mouth that told me about this guy!

Ya'll, this is going to be a show car! I had no idea.

Gen64 I'm going to call the Village Idiot asap.

    Prune

Glad to hear your car is comming along so good. I used to know some guys that were real good but, can't remember their names. (It's been a long time) They were old dragster guys. George Fina might be able to direct you if, he's still around. There are plenty of guys on here that know the real craftsmen around the area.

Also there was Bob DuMont (If I remember right) who would know who's, who.

His dad owned the boot repair place in Reding shopping center, and George is a retired OKC firefighter

Here's an update on the 31 Ford Coupe - see avatar. Osborne's repaired the
radiator, but couldn't do anything about the radiator shell. George Fina may
be doing the work. If not, he knows someone who can do it. The shell is
stainless steel. This is the only thing that's keeping the car from coming
    home.

The new radiator shells aren't made as well as the originals and they don't fit
properly. They want $600 for a new one. That's not going to happen.

I bought this car unrestored in 1980 for $350.00 and still had to think long and hard before I did it.

That is just....just....awesome! I have a friend who owns a '58 Impala Convertible but his is in pieces. That's got to be the nicest I've seen in about 40 years.

I missed it. There are a couple of guys who keep me up to date but this time
    it slipped by.

I'll never go to the swap meet at the Fairgrounds again, unless the admission
is free on Sunday or no more than a $1. Chickasha is far better and the price
    is right.

    IMPORTANT NEWS FLASH!

Last night Prunette and I were watching the Big Sleep. When she saw
Bogey's car, 39 or 40 Ford coupe, she commented on how beautiful it was.
I told her it's like looking at a super babe in a bikini. Then mentioned that
    they make great street rods.

About 10 minutes later I looked into her eyes and saw a '40 coupe. Candy
Apple Red with flames, tinted windows and over sized tires in the back.
Yes, Gen64, the front end was lowered.

That might be the next project, but I've got to let her think it's her idea.

Bring cash to the next Coit's meeting! Lots of cash!

We now return to our regular scheduled posts...
