================================================== =========First of all, if you show up late you have to buy everyone a Root Beer....Still waiting for the first one from Prunepicker though. It's just about 2 hours of discussing memories of the past....Some ( just one) is actually older than I am....He has run out of Geritol and hasn't been for a coule of months.

Seriously.... it is a good group of people that like to get together once a month to talk about growing up on the southside. Some people bring old yearbooks, newspaper articles, etc. to look at. It's just a real interesting time together... very casual. If you haven't already done so take a look at the main thread for this group.... lots of stuff there.

and, we have been trying to get teriokc to show but i don't think she's real. I believe she is actually part of the nostalgia threads memory bank.......also, pennyquilts and doug laudenback and of course "steve" are all northsiders and we want them to come...it raises our groups financial status.....see ya there....

It sounds like a fun bunch! I like to have fun too and I have a pretty good sense of humor so I think it will a great afternoon. I'm a Normanite now and I recently sold my childhood home off SW 55th but I'm STILL a southsider, by gumm!

I remember THINKING of the north side as The Twilight Zone but I don't remember a particular place called that. I remember the Twilight Lounge but it isn't northern.

I'm going to guess you are being facetious, so let's look at what you have posted previously on this board to see where your interests run. It shouldn't be too hard to figure out the type of job you would do well.

You excel in several areas:

You know the whereabouts of public "make-out" spots.
You know about bed covers.
You make videos of wild animal action.
You have superior knowledge of what is legal...or not.

Hmm, on second thought, as diverse as those attributes are, maybe the crowd around here wouldn't be the best source of work positions for you.
