Good, they will probably need to to make up for lost time from the construction accident as well as the potential rain we'll have this week.
If you look on the construction cam you will also notice a crane that is in operation on the far side of the Myriad Botanical Gardens. Is this the beginings of the renovations and updates to the gardens? or something else entirely? Anyone in the know's imput would be greatly appreciated.
I wonder what kind of contract incentive the construction crews have to finish ahead of schedule.
Could it be the replacement panes for the tube being delivered early?
Six floors by June (approx 100 feet tall) and glass on the exterior by July.
I believe metro is right that they aren't starting construction until after the arts festival but they are most definitely staging construction material in the small parking lot directly south of the tube. I drive by it every morning and have noticed it piling up. However, I don't know exactly what the huge crane was unloading. Things are going to start to get really interesting in the gardens as well. Should be a welcome change!
With Devon, Project 180, Myriad Gardens and the expansion of the Ford Center (and perhaps the SandRidge campus), that's going to be lots of massive projects all being done simultaneously in the CBD.
Pretty impressive given the lack of much happening in most other U.S. cities.
Yeah!!!...
It's awesome to see how much progress has been made in the last 3 months! Just think how the site will look 3 months from now!

Nice illustration kinggober!
Goob,..You are a true OKC fan!!..
And the VAN made all 4 shots!
Here's a few pictures I took today at lunch.
Great shots Okcmomentum! Thanks as always for the great photos!
Great pics thanks!
NDmoore Thanks for those fantastic images! That first one had an almost etherial quality about it! I am not sure if it was due to the focus lengths and the various distances from the foreground to the garage and the bazillion things going on between them, and the scale of everything; but it almost seemed as if it were a insanely complex model with the workers in the foreground almost appearing as figurines in the model....or maybe I just need a nap...either is just as likely! I really appreciate your taking these shots! This gives so much more detail and truly what you miss from the web cam. The depth of what is goin on even with the formwork and how there are different levels to the slab they will be pouring, some areas thickened for additional reinforcing and some with turned down beams. There is a lot going on! Also it was cool to see the progress of the basement wall just under the East garage on the South side of it.
Looks like they stoped on the tower for today.
Will the workers who are currently working on the parking garage start helping with the tower once that is completed?
Very Cool kinggober...the month by month. And I swear, I have seen THAT van move!
