    This Is What a Solar Roadway Looks Like | Sustainability | Fast Company

    We should install a few sporadically on our new "downtown boulevard" for directional and signage purposes if the technology perfects itself enough for practical use. We could be the first city in the U.S. to employ the technology.

    If not in the main part of the street, it would be nice if there would LED lane dividers. That way regardless of the road conditions or visibility, you know where you are on the road.

    It won't work. Dirt will be its downfall.

    Maybe not for the entire road surface, but I could see it used for crosswalks, school zones, etc;

    I like Venture and RDJunkie's ideas. Not sure I would trust the traction on that surface for any more than markers and dividers, etc.
