Thunder streaks intact:
- 7 wins in a row - best in OKC franchise history and currently 2nd longest in the league
- KD has scored at least 25 pts in 26 straight games - one game shy of tying Iverson's record
The way we're playing now, if we don't make the playoffs will be a disappointment.
The standings in the Western Conference are so tight! The Thunder are .5 game behind 4th and a full game ahead of 8th. This is why it is critcal to keep beating up on the Western Conference teams that surround them in the standings so that they can win on tie-breakers.
You both are wrong. Wilt Chamberlain holds the record.
NBA.com: Regular Season Records: Points
Most consecutive games, 30 or more points: 65 games
Wilt Chamberlain, Philadelphia, November 4, 1961-February 22, 1962
Most consecutive games, 20 or more points: 126 games
Wilt Chamberlain, Philadelphia, San Francisco, October 19, 1961-January 19, 1963
They didn't keep the 25 point record when Wilt played but it safe to assume it is somewhere between 65 and 126 consecutive games and probably loser to the 126 side.
That's what I get for relying on the DOk as a source...I ass-umed!
Well, we have already won two of the games that I put in the loss column of the original 10. We should win the next two and I know we can beat Phx but it should be a good game. It seems like everywhere I go around town people are talking about the Thunder. I also like the Thunder Blue lights on the 1st National Tower.
KD hits a 3 w/ 7 sec.left to take it to OT, and The Thunder win it over The Knicks!!!!8 in a row!!! 32-21 5th in the West! This is above and Waaaaaaaaaaaay beyond the improvement i was hoping for this yr. over last yr. WOW!!
That game was a real nail biter. I like that Durant got a big-time shot to go his way at the end of regulation. I think this win makes the Thunder 17-6 vs Eastern conference teams. This game also is Durant's 27th straight game of 25 + points.
Another great thing about this game is the press that Tracy McGrady is getting for his game tonight. Kind of like the game against the "New Look" Mavs, these teams are getting a ton of attention for their trades, and OKC comes out on top. I love it.
OKC plays Minnesota Sunday evening which should be a solid conference/division win.
I agree. The First National Center does look good in Thunder Blue.
Thanks for the images! I would love to see some from a distance with the skyline while iluminated Thunder Blue! That was fantastic! Thanks from someone who is living in Houston but is an avid Thunder Fan and have caught them on the road when they played here against Houston. Of Course cheering my team on much to the dismay of my rockets fan wife! Go Thunder!
