Probably their attempt to make it look as if community wi-fi would never work. They are slick! Getting Cornett to pull Public Access TV was hilarious!

Cornett and the Council went along with the COX lobbyists in late '07 and took away public access television (via barter agreements for their laying cable in public land)....however, they've kept the stations where he can go on and talk about how great everything is and how horrible are the police/fire "bullies".
