    Actually there were two. One at 9:18 and a second one about 10 minutes later. I never felt the first one but the second one definitely got my attention. Weird because the first was a 4.0 and the second was 3.8 I think.

    Yeah I updated my post to reflect that, so I guess that is what I felt. Not the first time I felt an earthquake in Oklahoma, first time I was stuck in traffic and didnt' find out about it till that night.

    There's a major subsurface fault that runs up toward the west central side of Creek county. I imagine it is possible the tremors ran up this and that is what you felt in Sapulpa at 9:18am.

    I haven't talked to anyone who felt it in Norman but did hear from someone downtown who felt it.

    one of my coworkers and i felt the first one, but nobody else in the office felt it. But the second one, EVERYONE felt that one, made a loud noise too. This was at Tinker.

    I'm glad that I'm not the only one who did not feel the first 4.0 quake but really felt the second 3.8. Southwest Midwest City
