Anyone know what is open on Christmas? Not the upscale places, but buffets such as Golden Corral.

McDonald's, which used to be universally closed on Christmas, now leaves it up to a franchise decision. The McD's on SW 89th and Penn is open Christmas Day according to their signs.

When I was a kid, there used to be something cool about driving out on Christmas Day and noticing that EVERYTHING was closed down....

I agree, you almost felt like you were in a deserted town. I myself refuse to shop anywhere on Christmas Day or Easter, it's a shame that companys are so money hungry.
