I used to be rabid OU fan but for some reason I don't get excited about the
game. It's always fun to watch college football but the excitement is gone.

Went to my first OU home game in 1974. Have not missed one since. In summer of 2007 I had quadruple by-pass the first of August. Contracted a stat infection. Went to all games, the first 3 with a wound-vac on my shoulder. Had a dr's statement as to what it was and the reason I was wearing it. Of course if they wanted to check it out the tube ran into my left groin.

The atmosphere is the high. But I get just as excited when OU is on t.v. or watch a tape of a game or play from the past.

The let-down is there are too many people who go to games and have no idea what's going on and could care less. They are there just to brag that they went to the OU game on saturday. Sure are a lot of people who would like to have those seats that know what it's all about.

nah, they've had worse showings televised. All things considered, the score indicates, in my opinion, a much closer game than the parts I tuned in for would cause me to believe.

Oklahoma played like the lower end 25 team that was missing some talent, gee that's what they are this year. Also, UT dinna play like a top 5 team, fortunately for OU.

Woulda rather they won, cause that makes the lovely smile brighter, but it coulda been a lot worse.

Yep, they sure had a great showing on Defense in the first half. Too bad Bradford got hurt again but Landry Jones did a great job for a Freshman...
