Default Restaurant suggestions for $50-75 per person

    Hi,

I'm planning a business dinner and need some suggestions. The budget is $50-75 per person.

I would prefer it be a nicer place and on north side if possible.

I've come up with (just from looking at online menus):

    Nonna's
The Melting Pot (not sure if that's a good place for a business dinner)
    Ranch Steakhouse
    Opus Prime Steakhouse
    Mickey Mantle Steakhouse
    Boulevard Steakhouse

I realize that some of these are out of budget but if the food is that great then the budget can probably be adjusted.

Any advice or suggestions are welcome!

    Thanks!

Mickey Mantle and Boulevard are arguably the best steakhouses in town. I have been to both Nonnas and the Melting Pot. I wasn't a huge fan of Nonna's, but have been to the Melting Pot, loved it every time, but you are right, it may not be the best place for a business meeting.

    I would also recommend:

Red Prime Steakhouse (it is in an older building, what I would consider just north of downtown.)

Mahogany (It is on Memorial between May and Lake Hefner Pkwy on the north side.)

Michael's Grill (just east of May and Grand Blvd.)

Coach House in On 63rd and Western is amazing and they have a great wine selection.

You didn't indicate how many in the party, which would make a difference. Not everyone is well laid out for a larger business group to have some privacy.

Nonna's is set up for private rooms for groups from 6 to 50 or so.
I've found the food to be consistently excellent and unique and
    certainly within that range.....
Their private rooms are between 75.00 and 250.00 depending on size.

I have been to all of them except Nonna's. I would have to say for consistency The Ranch was my favorite. My rankings from best to worst:

    The Ranch
    The Boulevard (in Edmond)
    Red Prime
    Opus
    Mickey Mantle's

I have heard good things about Michael's. Wouldn't want to go to Melting Pot for a large group.

If you do cocktails and wine, Red Prime will run you more like $150+/person.

I'd go with Nonna's. The menu is probably the most varied of the places you've listed.

Disagree! How do you get to $150 a person with this available? With cocktails and wine, $150 can be obtained anywhere. Actually have seen it done at Edna's.

Signature Grill in Edmond, the owner used to be the executive chef at Deep Fork. IMO, its the best in the OKC area. My wife and I use to go to either Boulevard or Michael's any chance we got, now we can't get away from Signature.

Oh, I completely agree. They have so good food for that price range, and it is byu far better than other restaurants. Their owner and manager are great people, and they believe in simple food that is done with excellency. If you want a steak, go to Red Prime. If you want a gourmet experience, come to Signature Grill, and you'll be happy.
