I'm looking for artwork for my office. I'd like to find things which say "Oklahoma," but are not cowboys and Indians, have nothing to do with oil wells and aren't scenes of open prairie and barbed wire. I'd also like to spend as little as possible, but I know that's not always in the cards.

What recommendations does anyone have as to places I ought to look at?

Maybe contact a few local artists and contract some pieces from them? You'd probably have a better chance of getting what it is you are looking for that way. And they would probably do it for cheap.
