I'm sorry for being so late to the get together at Coit's.

I know Frisky, Soonergirl26 and PapaOU were there. Who else showed up?

Saw Gen64 today. Had to bail him out... again.
Bring your unused bail bond coupons to the next get together.

Hey guys, Sorry I wasn't at the meeting....that's my first to miss...I have had surgery for Kidney Stones and other complications. I'm old and still don't like for the nurses to give me a shot...I don't care how cute they are...(Nurses not the shots).....don't recommend Kidney stones to anyone so be careful with this hot weather....Many other complications happened but that's not real nice to talk about.....I'll bounce back.......

Tried to cover the best I could with a believable story. You might bring the
bail bond coupons to the next meeting just in case.

A friend told me that the illusion of beautiful nurse was proportionate to
how sick you are. If the nurses are cute, you're very sick because the
mind plays games. If they're gorgeous, you're near death or worse.

In reality they all are ugly and built like Russian KGB agents.

From what you told me today, they were more like kidney bowling balls.

Good to have you back. See you next time.

    You should have said something.

I'm sure I have something to relieve the pain.

If not! Something to take your mind off of the hurt.

We did miss you Gens64....sorry to hear about your health issues. Hopefully you'll bounce right back and we'll see you in August.....Aug. 15th I believe since that is the 3rd Saturday. I was feeling bad because prunepicker gave me the homemade jelly he brought for you Saturday....then I heard that he gave you some today. Good stuff!

Good to see you back, Mom! Prunette already likes you and has no clue
who you are. I have no idea why. Frisky, Papa and Rickster, ferget it.

Prunette and I have gone beserk in the kitchen. We're lookin' for recipes
that don't cause kidney stones. '64 has had about a million of them.

Hey 64, have you called Guiness World Records?

Hey Mom, is it possible to make kidney stone jelly?

Yo' 64, Prunette said if you want a refill you need to return the jar. She
doesn't give a Flying Frattalli Brother about the leather, she just wants her
jelly jars back. Did you know she was a sniper in the special forces? She
can cure your kidney from 1,000 yards, i.e. there'd be a hole big enough
    for anything to pass.

Gen64, return the jars, and bring the bail bond coupons at the next get
    together.

Mom, make sure Gen64 pays attention.

    64, don't make Mom mad.

I THINK that it was a block or two north of 59th on Penn, but part of me is saying it's just been TOO long to remember for sure. It was razed a long time ago. Jack's daughter Deanna graduated from Grant in '62.

Before both the hospital, and the muffler shop, on the N.W. corner of S.W. 59th and Penn. there was a building on the West side of Penn. that faced the East. Geralds donuts occupied the South end, and a resturant occupied the North end. Was that Jacks?

I thought so but couldn't remember. In the early sixties my parents ran a small dry cleaning business with two locations. One shop was in the Reding shopping center and the other in that building on 59th and Penn. Over the years many different businesses came and went. Do you remember any others? I seem to recall a beer joint there as well, do you?

Aren't they great. I grew up, and I've grown out, on Geralds donuts.

The business I remember best was Jeans West. Bellbottoms, tie-dyed shirts, good leather belts......

The only beer joint I knew of is still there on 58th west of penn. The Twilight Club. Rough place then and still is............

Thanks, I couldn't remember the name. That was way to many years ago, but I bet it was a fun place.

I have looked everywhere for a pair of Pants Stretchers.....My mom would make Starch and then put my jeans (blue and Wheat) on them and when they dried she would Iron them and the seam would stay forever.....Would like to find a pair of Jeans Stretchers......She would also starch my shirts ....they would be so stiff you could stand them up in a corner....
