We have a pretty active seismic zone in Oklahoma with around 100-150 earthquakes a year. There is one main fault line in SW Oklahoma which the Wichitas developed on...but doesn't look like there is a lot of activity there. There are others throughout the state and our ground (dirt) type also plays into things.

I've heard there were up to 8 earthquakes in the state today including a 3.4 near ADA and a 2.7 near Jones. Anyone feel them? NewsOk's story mentions 6. http://newsok.com/four-earthquakes-h...rticle/3396104
