Default Buy Local Food Fair/Movement tonight!

I've been meaning to post this for a few days. Mods feel free to move to Food Court if you think it's better in there. Since it's tonight, I thought the event would get maximum exposure in Metro Area.

Sounds fun but jeez it's hot today. Not to be a whiner.

The event was pretty good. Similar to the OSU-OKC farmer's market, but a little smaller. It was cool having it on the Harn Homestead though. The Harn would definitely be a great place for an urban farmer's market!!! Glad to see the local movement growing in Oklahoma. Did anyone else go?

I went - it was HOT! But the vendors were all really nice. I would have liked to see more of them. The barn at the Homestead was a little crowded for my liking - I think it could have been a little better if it were just tents on one of the open fields out there. Anyways - I hope they continue events like this - I will definitely be there!

Anything to help local producers, instead of having it truck from long distances.
