Benefit for Free To Live

I got this in an email from a friend and thought it would be good info to pass along in the forum. It's a great cause.

"This is to announce that artist Suzanne Mears is opening a new gallery at 6420 N. Western (next to the Metro) and with this opening she is doing a benefit for Free To Live called "The Dog Days of Summer". The benefit will
be on Thursday, August 6th from 5 to 8 p.m. Part of the proceeds from all sales go to Free To Live.

Also, anyone can enter an art piece, the only thing requirement is that there must be a dog in the artwork. Entries must be in by July 15th. The artwork will be for sale, artist gets 70%. If you are interested in entering, email Suzanne at fineart@mearsgallery.com or call her at her gallery at 242-6420."

According to their website Free to Live is also doing a fundraiser this month. An anonymous donor is matching all donations made in July up to $10,000.
