They should have gone to a movie there, a G-rated one aimed at kids. That would have been the last of the 24 movie rooms the cops would have looked.

Has nothing to do with the mall. If I were stupid enough to run, and I were next to a mall, I'd run into it too. Well, besides Crossroads that is, only because I'd be arrested shortly thereafter for being the only person in the mall; and the only person running at that. ;]
