    Default Stamped Concrete

I'm looking for anyone that may contacts or has used an OKC contractor for stamped concrete. I am planning a good sized patio expansion, so I would like a few recommendations or referrals...

Me too.. anyone know of anyone who specializes in walkways around swimming pools and adjoining patios?

What's the going rate for Stamped concrete... approx 800 sq ft? What would that run in today's market?

Check out this website. I've been in their showroom near metro building supply in Edmond. They can some very cool stuff. And it's a national product, so I'd say it's proven.

We just recently had an estimate from Artistic Stone. We've seen this guys work, and its awesome. We are getting our back patio and front porch & walkway stained. I think any stamping would run an xtra $1 per sq ft. But for the staining, which is all we want, it runs around $3 per sq st. Will cost about $900 total, that's not too bad at all. They were some really nice stain colors to choose from...

There were so many options, etc. that I don't. I just remember leaving their showroom thinking it was very affordable versus other options (especially their countertops).

They're very low-pressure, so don't feel like you'll get hounded for walking in the door. It's cool to see all of their samples.

We stained all of the concrete in our house and got all of the supplies from Crete Works in Moore (I35 south of 27th Street). Chris Downey is the owner and I think the girl who works there is his wife. The samples of his work are really good looking. Of all of the retail stores that sell concrete stamps and stain, this was the only one where the people were even remotely friendly.

Wow - Observer - did you guys do all the work yourself? Was it cumbersome?

Stamped concrete can also be blended with other decorative concrete elements such as exposed aggregate finishes and acid-etch staining, along with a particular pattern, such as running bond brick, hexagonal tile, worn rock or stone.

We have done a bunch of this work and I can speak very highly of Chris Downey at cretewerks on I-35 in Moore.
