It does look like the tower is leaning toward the left.
No big deal though...Still get an idea of what it'll be like, which is his main point...And a good one at that!
i'm kinda worried about what i'm gonna do for 2 months... cuz i heard devon is gonna close the Colcord for a couple months while they work on the foundation.
Man, that view will be amazing! I think literally this means OKC is up and coming b/c you only see buildings this height and size in only the top largest size cities! so yeah this is a very big deal! and I cannot wait! and this is a little off topic but a few months back a developer said he was planning a 30 story tower in OKC any body know what I am talking about? and does any1 have some updates?
I have seen alot of skyline snapshots of what the OKC skyline will look like when the Devon tower is complete, but none from the east side of the city like from MWC-DC area! I have seen views from the SW,NW,S,N but not the eastside,at the intersection of Air Depot and E.Reno there is an awesome view of DT OKC! I'd like to see this view with the devon tower photoshopped or some kind of rendering! Can any1 do this or already have a pic or link?
How about this dmoore... from Douglas Park near NE 4th and I-35
Eagle Point Apartments in Del City have an awesome skyline view of downtown. Too bad, I'm no longer living there. It was a great 3 years while it lasted.
That is a awesome view good job platemaker I like the BT view from JLC also...I think when this thing is built the view from the ford center looking straight up will give your neck a cramp.
Now in the future when people think of OKC They will think of this huge tower and the OKC Thunder...not the sad parts of our history, nice turnaround OKC!!!

That is a very awesome view platemaker, I can't wait till it gets build, driving to downtown on 40 or 35 or 235, it's going to be awesome.
"A detached auditorium that was not part of the original plan when it was introduced in August is on the drawing board at the corner of Sheridan and Hudson avenues.
Pickard said if the company decides to build the auditorium, it will help define the urban face of the project on that corner. Kimker said Devon officials are still trying to determine if the auditorium is a good addition to the site on that corner."
Any word on this....or renderings? I saw the article in the paper this morning about the start of construction being pushed back. Im so ready to see ground work begin.
Platemaker I think it is going to be bigger than what you have in the picture. It is going to dwarf everything! I can't wait!!!
I'm pretty sure the auditorium is still on. That, Stage Center, Civic Center, and the new City Arts building could turn the Arts District into a Theatre District...ish.
Man that things gonna be huge!!!

This says construction of the garage was moved back. Start time is October 1st and move in date was moved up to 12/31/2012, which I guess is a few months earlier than expected.
http://newsok.com/experience-is-a-wi...ad_story_titleThe schedule outlined by Flinto Holder bumped the start of expansion of the City Center West Garage from July 1 to Oct. 1, meeting Devon’s desires to shorten the inconvenience to downtown workers, Kimker said.
The contractors also intend to start "deep excavation” for the tower at the same time and is targeting the move-in for the company for Dec. 31, 2012 — a few months earlier than Devon’s original schedule.
Platemaker can you post a larger version of your avatar? Looks like a rendering of Devon Tower in a full skyline shot............
BTW I think you have the scale of the tower about right in your image above.
wow.
Building needs to be bigger, more like this.........
I wish it be bigger than the twin towers.
