I know there's a downside to gas becoming sensible again, and at some point I'll care. But today, I pump!

  6. Default Re: Gas

I did saw on the news a few weeks ago about that downside. The state claimed to be hurting, which I think is a bunch of crap. Prices going down, but the taxes is still there. The state should be joyus having more people filling up (thats more taxes to the state).

What's the latest excuse for the sudden increase?!

    I'm seeing places passing $2.25!!!

It is no longer costing me 20 bux to fill up. Now, it's getting closer to 30 bux!!!

You can thank President Obama and the rest of the federal government. The latest increases are mostly caused by an increase in federal gas taxes. Another reason is refineries are going off-line to convert to summer fuel mixes. This occurs every year.

  9. Default Re: Gas

Well, here we go again, as the prices go up, the economy will further be in damage.

    Prunepicker is correct, BO stinks!!!

I hope that you guys weren't the same ones claiming that it wasn't Bush's fault that gas was expensive.

When gas is expensive, it's always the president's fault.

nah, sometimes it's the low level of the arkansas river keeping barges from bringing fuel up from the gulf.
