Thread: Southside OKC Memories….revisited

  1. Default Re: Southside OKC Memories….revisited

This northsider would like to make a third appearance - this time with a video camera hoping to record your memories and post them at Welcome to OKCHistory.com. I might also bring another troublemaker, Doug Loudenback, and MMM has indicated he'll do his best to be our interpreter (though I think I've started to get a grasp on at least part of the native language!)
Seriously, let me know if this is ok. If not, I'm cool with that.

There's not a problem... except with maybe Gen64, Rickster, Gen78,
    Southsidegirl, Frisky, PapaOU, mmm, Steve...

I don't mind, but of course I won't be there

    Glad you liked it.

I don't think Generals'64 and Prunepicker appreciate it anymore....

My name shows............and they bypass it.

Just showing their age...........true now as it would have been in the '60's and '70's...........

Yeah, the memories of the way things were in a simpler time does make me wonder why things had to get so complicated. It is very nice to have others to reminisce with. It also keeps the memories active.

Didn't mean to leave so early but, I had promised Loudenbeck to show him a place.....Generals64....by the way Bowtie....Glad to have you aboard even though you admitted going to The other School.....We don't count Capitol Hill as a school....It's considered an institution....Look at the guys that have come out of there....Now, Southside Girl is just an exception to the cause....Cause she acts like a lady...the guys do to but that's another story within itself....

What a great time was had by me today at your meeting! I hope that I didn't make a fool of myself (Lackmeyer thought that I might do that and told me to be on good behavior) since I'd like to come again.

After the meeting was an astonishing eye-opener for me. See http://www.okctalk.com/nostalgia-mem...-location.html

Sounds like a good time was had by all, sorry I missed out on all the fun we had a birthday party we had completely forgotten about to attend to. Rickster thanks for calling me and rubbing it in LOL.

It is good to see the group can still function with the picker the 78 and the girl MIA!!

I have to admit that I am proud to have attended the real school on the southside, but, I will also admit that I did cross over to the dark side and marry a Grant girl the first time. All kidding aside, this group is about as much fun as old southsider can conjure up. Again, thanks to all of you for a great time. I do agree that the "institution" was probably just called a school to cover up its real function.

Hey Bowtie, just tell people that Capitol Hill is in a class with the Smithsonian. See .....now it doesn't hurt so bad.

At least you admit that of the three CHHS, Grant, S.E. the Hill has "class".
