Just wanted to test my wings, I've been trying to login in for a few days,
good thing I went to the only real school on the southside. It taught me the
patience to persevere.Big Hello to all my southsiders.

It's nice to have a place to post all of the useless information that I hold in my weak little mind. I will do so if the time comes that I can remember any of it.

I'm beginning to feel that it may be frivolous to banter. It seems that none of us are quite as frivolous lately. Possibly, I can start something with a simple statement. "We are too few to be noticed, but, too many to be ignored."

How many of the old OKC telephone prefixes do we remember?

    I remember:

MUtual - My home phone number from the 4th grade until I left home in 1965 was MU5-1740.

    MElrose

    CEntral

    WIndsor

    REgency

    JAckson

Now if this isn't useless frivolity and banter, I don't know what is.

USG60...Thought you might enjoy this web site more than most. I knew a few of these people but I was younger. Alvin Easterling is on the list who use to frequently box my ears around (all in fun) which caught my attention along with some others!!

The Easterlings were all real sweethearts. I was amazed at how many of the deceased were friends of mine and/or my sister's. I noticed on their main page and on the list of registrants was Gary Manley. HE used to give me great stress, but I ran into him about 20 years ago and he really was a sweetheart and he apologized profusely. Folks change, eh?

Did you look at more than just the deceased list? I thought the rest was pretty good! Speaking of Easterling (Alvin) the last time i saw him was in the Keno Saloon and his left arm had been cut off by a Machete; I don't think he won that one.

Well, you only have to lose a few to lose some important parts, it would seem. I think it was just good ol' Karma at work.
