Thread: Cooking Classes

  1. Default Cooking Classes

Anyone know of any local chefs/restaurants that offer cooking classes here in town?

Francis Tuttle Vo-Tech offers them several nights a week. My wife goes occasionally. There was a gourmet kitchen store up on N. May near Memorial and they used to offer some occasionally. Seems like there is an old thread on this topic with a few other suggestions as well.

Adobe Grill @ NW 50th & Shartel was offering cooking classes on weekends.
I think that would be a fun option but I don't know cost information.

Platt College (North OKC - near Quail Springs Mall) offers these classes to the public (I believe)... call to confirm.

The other day when I was at the Will Rogers Theatre I noticed they were offering a weekend Sushi class. I think it was about $60 and sounded pretty interesting. The wife and I have been wanting to learn to do sushi from home for awhile.
