Okay, here's something I can't keep straight. Who were the disc jockey's and
    which station were they on.

    Johnny Dark - KOMA?
    Danny Williams - WKY
    Ronnie Kay - WKY
    Dale Wehba - KOMA

    Am I right so far?
Those are the ones I remember right now.
I know the guy who played Cannonball on Foreman Scotty was a DJ. What
    was his name?

    For the 400th time...

What was in the KOMA Super Summer Fun Kit? Somebody on this list
    had to have won one.

Was his wife there? She was often at the Scene. What a rack!!! Probably rests on her knees now.

    Hey everybody,
Prunepicker is going to meet Prunepicker in the parking lot of Coit's on the
28th. They'll probably get it on after 1:30pm.

They had a big blow up on the Okc Memories thread. It got REAL ugly.

It'll be great Generals64 and Generals78 and then Prunepicker and
    Prunepicker.

It's worth getting sick on hotdogs to see that fiasco!

I don't think I remember the Summer Fun Kit.

Hey was anyone listening to KOMA on a particular Friday (or could have been a Saturday) night in 1969 when they played Suspicion by Elvis and the version by Terry Stafford? They played them both one after the other for about an hour and had a poll as to who's version was the best. I believe Stafford won that one. His version was better than Elvis' in my opinion. I'm surprised I remember that.

Okay, that makes sense, since, Danny Williams was such a big star on WKY.
I never knew he went to KOMA! Those stations were great!

I had a transistor radio I'd hide under my pillow!

Yeah! Find out about that Super Summer Fun Kit!

I remember listening to the computerized fight of Marciano and Ali on the
radio. I don't know which station it was on. I didn't hold any allegiance to
either WKY or KOMA. At any rate, it was exciting. Marciano won by a knock
out. A few years later my dad and I watched it in a motel room in Claremore!

Dale Wehba was the general manager at Jack Clark Crysler Plymouth when I was there as a teenager sweeping floors. Havent heard that name in ages, wonder if he is still around.

From what I know he's got a private DJ gig. One of those things where you
hire a DJ to play dance music. He had a club for a while.

How many remember Dennis Doughnuts? Every once in a while my Dad would drive to the one on SW29 and get a big box of hot glazed. We would pig out watching Tarzan movies brought to you by Fretwell's. He was the first I ever remember being on air and have the cars driven by him as he named the features and the price.
