    Lash LaRue
    The rebel... Johnny Yuma
The Wyatt Earp show... My dad's favorite along with Gunsmoke
    The Jack Benny Show...[/quote]

Man! I couldn't wait until Saturday morning for the Lash LaRue show! At the
beginning of every show there was Lash with that honkin' bullwhip takin' the
gun from a bad guy (congressman)!

He was sooooooooooo cool! He was one of my earliest prison, er, childhood
heros! 1958! The Lash LaRus Show! Hey, I liked "Colt 45".

THIS is the ultimate tv trivia question. I know, because I just made it up!

What did Christropher Colt pull out of his holster before the show started?

Do you need a hint? Send $100 in care of Prunepicker...

The right answer to this question might earn you the keys to either a
1953 prototype Corvette or a 1963 Stingray. I dare you! C'mon old man!

the old man is... Gen64! DUH!

Okay, this may very well be the ultimate TV trivia question. I can say that
because I made up the other ultimate TV trivia question about Christopher
    Colt.

Jar your memory banks! that is bang your head against the wall. Are you
    ready?

    Here it is...

What was the first TV commercial and what did it do? You've got 60
seconds... good grief I can't stand commercials...
Hint: it wasn't Jeno's Pizza Rolls.

    starting...

    NOW!

    1... 2... 3... 4...

Dale's horse was Buttermilk, and I know what it looked like but I don't know what kind it was.

I agree with '78----the generation gap on here is amusing to watch--er--read! I was all about The Six Million Dollar Man, SWAT, Starsky and Hutch, and the Planet of the Apes series ( only lasted what, one season?) My 11 year old son can't seem to fathom how cartoons were only shown on Saturday morning. I told him "Man, you had to get up EARLY to catch the good stuff."

And I might add, I'm thoroughly disgusted the LAND OF THE LOST is being remade with Will Ferrell.

Here are the answers to the TV questions I asked.

    1. Christopher Colt drew a package of Beechnut gum from his holster.
    2. The first tv commercial was Bulova. It showed a clock and the the
    announcer told the time.
    3. Dale's horse, Buttermilk, was a Buckskin.

That show was popular in Europe, too. That's why we get a lot of Europeans passing through Oklahoma along Rt. 66.

Little Roquefort was the name of the mouse in the cartoon with his name.
Rocky's voice was June Foray. She MANY cartoon voices including Granny
    on Tweety and Sylvester.

A true story about her. She was never seen on TV or the movies, only her
voice was used, well, maybe a rare appearance on something. At any rate,
whenever she ate at the Brown Derby she'd have a friend call the
restaurant and have her paged. Then she'd walk around saying, "I'm June
    Foray!"

Turned out Randolph Scott was gay. That threw me more than Rock Hudson's being so. I s'pose he's dead, regardless.
