Hey your first yearbook was probably done with Crayon correct????By the way, you don't win you let them win......all in how you look at it.....excuse slip????I didn't see a good excuse....by the way did you ever have classes over in the church across from the school??? and how long had the tent been down when you first started at Grant????

I started there in my 8th grade year, Grant's second. I THINK the tent was taken down before the first year was over, but I'm not positive, but the '56 and '57 yearbooks are both still called The Bigtop. They changed to The General after that. Prune, I have the yearbooks for for my 8th thru 12th years and I have the '61 which was my brother's for his Junior year but he gave it to me because he doesn't have a nostalgic bone in his body. He remember's Grant as the place he met his first of 5 wives and that is about it. Actually I made some side money forging Opal (I thinK) Littlefields signature on hall passes. She couldn't tell them from her own. I don't remember how I managed to get my hands on the blanks.

ATTENTION: Calling all people with memories (LOL!)......

I have heard that we may have some conflicts with having our next lunch on March 21st.... sooooo, any objections to moving it to March 28th?

SE-76.....what was it that you asked me to research for you?? I know it had something to do with Orville Moody playing golf at the old Capitol Hill Golf Course, but forgot exactly what you wanted me to try to find.

I grew up on Southside and went to Grant in the 60’s. I have so many great memories but I haven't seen in any post about A.A.A.drive-in on S.W.59th and Penn. or Across the Street restaurant. Does any one else remember the great times we had cruising 59th between these two Grant hangouts? I don’t know who owned these places but I would like to thank them for allowing us to hang out inside all evening without even ordering. That wouldn’t happen today.

    Debbie1969, Debbie1969, Debbie1969...

We've spent many hours discussing these wonderful hang outs. Obviously,
you are a rookie on this tread. 1 POST!

Are you ready for a total shock? We are currently hanging out with grads
from South East. No kidding. It's great! You need to attend our monthly
meeting, which the youthful Soonergirl26 arranges so I can't attend, and
meet some wonderful people and share what's left of your memory.

Beware of Gen64! I don't know why, it just seems like good advice.

Hey, do you remember anyone by the name of Norma Jean B? The last
name is not used in order to protect her.

According to my relatives nobody is related to me...

    I don't know him/her, either, but I haven't racked what's left of my brain.

Now, from out of no where, someone begins to rattle MY Cage and then he says he is related to one of my buddies and I am beginning to try and figure out which direction I'm coming from. All I would really like to know is who this character is so I can begin returning his favor back to him...
