twitter is for socialites who feed on letting people know what they are doing right then and there and making themselves feel more important than they really are.

I was curious so I signed up for it a couple of months ago. Then deleted it when I got multiple messages of "at the grocery store, what should I buy?" or "I'm driving now, what should I listen to?" ect every day. So I got rid of it.

If you are into that stuff then its cat nip.

I was late to the social networking party, but now that Facebook seems to be the clear winner, I've really gotten into it.

FB's status feature is very much like Twitter but it also has a lot of depth in terms of people sharing photos and the like. Plus, unlike Myspace, people use their real names and can't create those seizure-inducing pages.

I've found tons of old friends on Facebook and have organized several groups and get togethers there.

There's even an OKCTalk.com group!

Its the people who have Twitter linked to their facebook statuses that are the bane of my existence. I am sick of the incessant and constant "updates". That is a quick way to get un-friended by yours truly (I'm looking at you PMJ).

Meh, I do the same thing. I find it really useful to link twitter and facebook. That way I don't have to update both all the time. All of my friends and family use tools like this to keep track of each other. Its really a great way to keep in contact with people.

The way to solve that is to get friends that never go out and do anything. lol

I really don't see the attraction. I really don't care what my friends are doing every second of the day and I doubt they'd care about every little thing I do as well. It seems sort of manic to me.

I love Facebook... I'm not so much into twitter but since most of my friends and family are out of state, I love to keep in touch with them. I like to know how their lives are going.

I do not even know you and didn't know this thread existed until I stumbled on it five minutes ago and you are attacking me??? What did I do to you? Unfollow me now! As for using Twitter, if you do not like it, do not use it. I am not a country music fan so I do not listen to it but I do not go around attacking those that do.
