Gathering of Cops- Sheraton Hotel, 2/5/09

Anyone have any idea what was going on about 5 AM-ish on Thursday, 2/5?

There were about 6 black-and-whites, no lights/siren, gathered at various points around the east side of the Sheraton Hotel downtown. Did we have some celebrities getting guarded/escorted? It was a disconcerting sight at that hour of morning.

Well, someone has to sample the first pot of joe each morning. Why not rely on the experts.

Could have just been the Denver Nuggets players leaving early to get out of town from the game the night before.

Daniel and Kevin - I thought of the coffee and donuts also, but I think metro may have hit it with the Nuggets. I also thought maybe there was some politico or rock star, but that many cars seemed overkill for all of the above.

I drive that way every morning about the same time and it's always quiet. The only people out are the homeless and those of us who work too much.
