    Generals64, I graduated Capital Hill 71.

Gen70, I remember a Farmer's Daughter at NW23d & Meridian. Is that the one you meant? Had a Myna bird in a cage just inside the door. People (kids) taught it to curse.

Funny Story:....I worked at the TG&Y at 74th and Penn and we had taken a trade-in (yes, a trade-in) on a talking Parrott. Well, we always had stockboys stay late and mop & wax etc. It seems a lady put the parrot on lay-A-way and during the time before she paid the bird off the stock boys taught theis parrot EVERY Slang and Curse word in the books. We finally had to give the lady her money back and gave the bird to Bob Jenny to get rid of it......There were quite a few looks when customers would pass and the bird would let out the expletives.

Country Club Drive-In was just east of 59th and Penn.

Eddies still is a steak House on the North side of town...I thin about 42nd and meridian.

Kiespert's was an old Grocery store across from Coit's.. Building is still there but it's a hispanic Community Center now.

Yes, on the north side of the road. And I believe there was an A&W across the street from it on the south side of 23d.
