Which ones have the highest payouts? Most of the ones I've been to just take your money. Some take it so quickly, that you don't even get to play long. The smaller casinos are the worst. It seems to me most people in those places are senior citizens. What's up with that? If you're on a fixed income, the last place you need to be is a casino.

Casinos all turn a profit.

So really, none of them has any 'payout.' If you gamble habitually, it is almost a certainty that you're going to lose money over the long haul.

I have had really good luck at thunderbird casino, my wife and i dont go to the movies, so we take what we would spend at the movies plus snacks and head out to the casino, but we dont play the dollar machines, nickle 9 lines is our game, we just usually go to have fun, but sometimes that nickle can pay back, we have won $200.00 a couple times so far.

Be careful about having the mindset of using a casino as a place to make money. The casinos are there to make money. They are simply a place of entertainment. We see a lot of people who have lost all of their money at the casinos when we do their tax returns. It is a sad reality that I don't hear many people talk about since we have allowed all of these casinos in our state. I enjoy going to Vegas occasionally but treat gambling as entertainment.

IMHO The last place most people need to be is in a casino! Believe me I have tried to strike it rich on way too many occasions in my past and I am still paying for it today. As has been said before casinos have a huge overhead and do not pay that huge electric bill by paying out winnings!

My advise... stay away and go spend your hard earned money on something that is really going to bring more developement to this city. Most of our tribal casinos are doing quite well and there are a lot of other businesses that I would much rather give my money to now. The entertainment for $50 or so at a Thunder game will probably last a lot longer than a casino.

I've had good luck at Fire Lake, but I don't usually play the machines. I like blackjack. It has the best odds (if you know what you're doing) and the interaction with the other players makes it more fun than just mindlessly pushing a button and hoping.

The last few time's I've gone there, they've had a "party pit" where the table minimum is only $1 and there were no antes. While playing, the longnecks were $1 and I've played for hours on $50. You have to get there early because there are only a few tables in the party pit and seating is very limited. It's fun entertainment and I usually come out at least a little ahead at the end of the night.

The only complaint I have is that they need to work on smoke elimination. Riverwind is nicer and I don't recall ever smelling smoke when I walked in, but at Fire Lake it was immediately apparent. I don't smoke, but it doesn't really bother me that much. However, my wife really can't stand it.

Casinos are the new nursing homes. I stopped by one out of curiosity not that long ago because it was near where I had an appointment but I was about two hours early. It was filled - FILLED - with old people and disabled people.

I like blackjack as well. I believe FireLake Grand on Wednesdays, during the day, does not require an ante. I hate antes. It's like a tax on losing money...

During the workday maybe, but in my experience, on the weekends it's a pretty good mix of people.
