It's good to see they have a "Gryo" sandwich.

Which is around when the St Elijah Food Fest is held, so you're still good...

I believe this year it is Nov 6-7-8.

Long years ago, my grandfather was in the hospital dying of cancer. I would drive up to see him everynight after work. One night, I just happened to drive by the Festival and stopped in on a whim. It was exactly the break I needed to ease the grimness. We ate and drank and laughed. I can't think of the Greek Festival without an emotional lift. Can't wait to get back and attend once we get back home.

went yesterday and it was a blast! the saganaki (flaming cheese) was really tasty and fun to watch them prepare. i also had a gyros sandwich and that was good, too... one of the better ones i've had. there's a $3 cover to get in. the saganaki was $6 and the gyros was $5.

i didn't see any beer being served, but i thought i might have smelled it from the spot they were serving red wine.

I had the flaming cheese as well. It was good but I wouldn't say it's that great. The gyro's were great. Also had the baklava "Zorba" sundae. It was ehhhhhh. It would have been good if they didn't use the cheap frozen yogurt, I prefer the Baklava sundae at the Lebanese festival. Ahh well, it's only 2 weeks away and I can get cheese talami too! The baklava and other pastries my wife tried and said they were good and the almond rolls excellent.

the 'zorba' sundae was a bit disappointing... i didn't order one myself but one of my friends did. from what i could tell, it was just soft serve over 'leftover' broken baklava bits. in fact, we were joking around calling the substance 'baklava crunch cereal'...
