Thread: KOCO Weather

  1. Default KOCO Weather

They finally launched the delayed start of the new weather page.

Really, it is nothing new. It is a clone off of another news station. New for us, tho.

Oklahoma City Weather, Oklahoma Weather, Forecast & Weather Maps - KOCO Oklahoma City's Channel 5

I still give them lots of credit. Anything that allows you to make web page look like you want to make your life easier is a welcome thing. I recently tried my.Yahoo.com, which is fully customizable and it's a total gas. You can have just the content you want, and I'll be darned, they even gave me a TV schedule module so now I don't have to go the the TV Guide website.

Don't you just know the web programmers are working long hours and eating a lot of burgers at their desk trying to crank this stuff out. I don't miss doing that one little bit! ;-)

I'm amazed at how far KOCO has come in ten years. Back then, you couldn't get me to watch KOCO if you sent me check every month. Now, they're my main station.

Am I? That is in your decision to decide.

    .....

KFOR is my main station and I like KOCO's online Weather Blog, which I enjoy reading and actively posting on there.

Andy is still around. As I had mentioned in another thread, Andy is still posting on the Weather Blog.
