Thread: Trash/waste mounds...

    Default Trash/waste mounds...

...what happens to them when they get too tall? The only trash sites I can think of are the ones in SE OKC off of I-240, in north MWC, and west OKC, south of I-40.

i think after they get tall enough they will wait 20 years then build a upscale neighborhood, probably called mountain view.. great views of downtown and surrounding areas, people who move here from cali will fall for it.

That's not as outrageous as you might think.

In Edmond, Hafer Park is built on top of the old city dump.

There's at least one neighborhood I know of in NW OKC where the houses run in the 200K/300K range which is built on top of a former landfill.

That's kind of what I was wondering. If you add some trees and shrubs to the mound, it might actually pass as a nice little remote hill. They can't keep building it forever. Thanks for the responses.
