    Looking good.
Same YES/NO ratio, but at 66% reported.

I think this thing is in the bag.

People say you can't complain if you didn't vote. Since Mr. Glover wasn't able to vote, does he still have a legitimate gripe?

    201 of 271 precincts:

    YES - 60.5
    No - 39.5

I bet we get to 100% by 9:00!

Oklahoma and Oklahoma City won because we all can finally come together around a common team that represents ALL of us. I for one cannot wait to come back to the city and support a team that has OKC on its jersey. Man, unbelievable. I still predict unprecedented investment in DT OKC because of this vote. Thanks OKC

Might as well, we've paid for it...or will.

For just pennies a day, we all have brought the NBA to Oklahoma City. I really think it would be cool if the City owned the franchise, kind of like Green Bay.

Just like the rest of you, I've been anxious about this vote ALL DAY! Glad to know that most of the voting public are showing their love for OKC and its bright future. We can all make our plans to buy season tickets. YIPPIE!!!!

You will wise up in a few years!

As excited as I am about the results so far, with only 50,000 votes (approx. 61% of precincts reporting), it still looks like only about 10% or fewer of the total # of registered voters in OKC came out to the polls.

I realize this is in keeping with other municipal elections, but still, it's really rather sad. Anyone have an idea how many registered voters there are in OKC?

I doubt such a condition will ever exist, but if the people vote in favor of such, let it be. Again, be mad at the people, not Clay Bennett.

How about the Gaylord Family Cagers? OR the MAPS Mobsters OR the Clay's Crusaders? All solid ideas JBrown.
