Not to mention that it looks like we are going to have a very nice arena very soon...
People say you can't complain if you didn't vote. Since Mr. Glover wasn't able to vote, does he still have a legitimate gripe?

This thing is over kids... WE WON!!!
I typed in another forum that I bet $20 bucks that it will pass easily and turns out I won the $20 bucks

YES - 60.5
No - 39.5
I bet we get to 100% by 9:00!
Oklahoma and Oklahoma City won because we all can finally come together around a common team that represents ALL of us. I for one cannot wait to come back to the city and support a team that has OKC on its jersey. Man, unbelievable. I still predict unprecedented investment in DT OKC because of this vote. Thanks OKC
We all need to plan to get together and go watch the games at the Ford Center!

Just like the rest of you, I've been anxious about this vote ALL DAY! Glad to know that most of the voting public are showing their love for OKC and its bright future. We can all make our plans to buy season tickets. YIPPIE!!!!
Congrats to the Yes voters. Now Clay can lose money and come back for another subsidy in the future. Maps XXI.
Check out the Sonics new web site. Can you find the Seattle name.
Seattle Supersonics
SO how long do you think it will be before there is a vote to decide the team name? and how long until Sonic rallys for the name to stay the same... I vote for the Oklahoma City Storm...uh wait...
As excited as I am about the results so far, with only 50,000 votes (approx. 61% of precincts reporting), it still looks like only about 10% or fewer of the total # of registered voters in OKC came out to the polls.
I realize this is in keeping with other municipal elections, but still, it's really rather sad. Anyone have an idea how many registered voters there are in OKC?
