Don't Stop Me (Thunder) Now.
Might be one of the hardest 5 game stretch of the season coming up. I would expect not an empty seat on Sunday. I actually think we will only go 3-2 this stretch. Wouldn't be shocked if it was 4-1 or 5-0 but my gut is telling me otherwise. At this point though it don't matter. I do think we will go hard to get a really good feel on what we need to do come playoff time and really shut things down after these 5 games. By shutting things down I mean a few key players missing games here and there.
Right but what I was trying to say is for these next 5 games all vs playoff teams I think everyone is going to be playing and we are going to be in full playoff rotation for a week to see what we need to adjust. Than we have the Sixers and Hornets where no one might play again.
March 9 vs Denver (Paycom Center) 12 noon - Thunder key players are well rested for the two game home series against the Nuggets.
March 10 vs Denver (Paycom Center) 7 p.m. - Series tied 1-1 following two games in Ball Arena
March 12 @ Boston (T.D. Garden) 6:30 p.m. - Thunder beat Celtics 105-92 here on January 5, does guarantee at least a split in the series.
March 15 @ Detroit (Little Caesars) 6:00 p,m. - Thunder will have a 3 day rest prior to Pistons game in Detroit.
March 16 @ Milwaukee (Fiserv Forum) 8:00 p.m. - Thunder @ Bucks, Milwaukie will have a home game vs. Indiana on the March 15.
These stats on total points for the season are pretty amazing:
1998 - SGA
1690 - SGA through three quarters
1675 - Anthony Edwards
1614 - Nikola Jokic
1606 - Jalen Brunson
1605 - SGA without any 3-pointers
1589 - Jayson Tatum
1508 - Giannis
1507 - SGA without any free throws
1479 - Cade Cunningham
Just an FYI, Jokic recorded the first ever 30-20-20 triple double last night.
Yes, give it up to The Joker deservingly so in a 145-141 win over Durant & the Phoenix Suns. Thunder should be well rested for
our NOON (12 p.m.) clash nationally televised game on ABC from Paycom Center.
The Nuggets had to fly into OKC for this game on the backs of a time change where they lost an hour in addition to the travel process.
Thunder needs to take advantage of this opportunity.
ESPN no they didn't just show the ugliest part of our skyline--the old telephone buildings. A better angle would have been from any other side.
Noon tip off is too early ! We always lose these early games it feels like !

Watchout Boston, There's No Stopping Us Now.
Don't Stop Me (Thunder) Now.
I don't think chasing home court vs Cleveland is going to be worth it. Focus on the West. Cleveland might not be there. Either Boston or Cleveland though the rest of the East is Horrible
Belt to ass
Our second team just blew out the starting lineup for the 21st ranked team in the league and we just beat the second place team in our conference by 24 points. There’s no need to chase anything, just keep playing and resting guys that are banged up when needed. If they keep doing what they’re doing, they will likely end the season with the best record in the NBA. We’re only a 1/2 game back…we have the 14th toughest sos and they have the 17th so they aren’t that far off. No need to overthink it.
CLEVELAND PLAY IN THE EAST. What don't you understand that conference is horrible. They are on a 13 game win streak cause 11 of those games have been eastern conference teams. Yeah they got some west coast teams but who is Cleveland going to lose too in the East if they don't lose tonight the rest of the year? They have @Memphis coming up but that is the hardest western conference team.
I hope I'm wrong but I see no way we past Cleveland for home court in the finals
We are actually 2 games back when Cleveland wins tonight becuase the have a better conference record cause they play in the East. So I would rather sit players out instead of trying to get home court. If we sit players out vs some of these western teams that are fighting for seeding we are going to drop a few games.
You realize they also play teams in the west, right? Who cares what conference they play in? Their strength of schedule is only 3 behind ours and we just blew out the second place team in the vaunted western conference for a second time. Not that much difference between 14 and 17.
That said, if we decide to throw the game vs the sixers, I’ll be fine with it.

Thunder's great depth showed up big time over Denver's lack of depth! That was a butt kicking!
You might want to hit refresh because it's now seven games after the Milwaukee game tonight. It does make a difference what conference they're playing in because those teams are horrible and the tiebreaker is conference record which there's no way we're catching Cleveland Also strength of schedule means absolutely nothing this time of year. You got teams that are trying to lose you got teams that will rest players because they've already locked up a seed. New York's probably going to end up three seed in the east they still got two games with Cleveland if they are locked in the three seed are they going to play anybody during those Cleveland games? Look closely at the thunder schedule. They have a lot of games against teams that are fighting for playoff position. You bring up the game versus the sixers we could go get a high school team and still win that game because the sixers do not want to win.
I bring up the game with the sixers because we need them to win a few.
Strength of schedule does matter. The teams that suck are going to be trying harder to suck and all the teams that are winning are still going to be trying to win until the last week or so. I don’t see the Thunder sitting a bunch of guys for full games vs the better teams unless those teams are sitting people. They will more than likely play everyone most of the time a rest the guys that are nursing minor injuries in bunches against bad teams and sparingly against the good ones. They aren’t just going to stop playing for the next month because they’re 12 games ahead. Also guys like Chet and Mitchell are going to need the minutes to prep for the playoffs so that they’re not gassed.
