The Adelson family sold their Las Vegas casinos. They have spent the last 10 years working to get gambling legalized in Texas and are committed to the looonnngggg game. They have no interest in owning an NBA team in Las Vegas. There is more money in Dallas.
Can we just end the season now and keep the standings the way they are. Sixers 7th worst team in the league we get wet that pick. Kings, Clippers, Mavs 8-10 in the West. Rockets, Grizzles. 4/5 game. Which makes tonight kind of important. Let's win tonight and keep the Grizzles down in that 4 spot. Don't want to see Nuggets or Lakers there.
Also, let's not forget that when the Chickasaws planned for Winstar, many of the Las Vegas casino owners wanted in on the action offering to help with financing. The Chickasaw Tribe refused their offers.
OKANA will usher in a more family friendly year round resort atmosphere; it will increase tourism and benefit new out-of-state money infused into OKC's economy.

Haters will say it's fake...
It's such a great team and so fun to watch. You don't often see this level of defense combined with an offense anchored by one of the best scorers currently in the league. The only question is are they mentally and physically ready to grind through the playoffs to a title? History favors experience, but they are an historical anomaly in so many ways already.Oklahoma City is allowing just 106.0 points per 100 possessions -- 3.1 points below the second-place Orlando Magic... The worst offense this season belongs to the Washington Wizards, who are averaging 105.5 points per 100 possessions. Oklahoma City is effectively turning all its opponents into the Wizards.
As for the haters, some "sports fans" are just so miserable in general, they can't enjoy it in real time.
This was my favorite stat from the article:
Gilgeous-Alexander distributes his points fairly evenly from all over the floor: 31% from the midrange, 25% at the rim, 25% from free throws and 20% from 3-point range. His throwback style is part of what makes him so hard to guard.
Frustrating I can't watch the Thunder play a nationally televised game on ESPN...
Worked for me last night on youtube tv even though the guide said it was going to be blacked out
looks like it was supposed to be blacked out .. this was an added game and youtube tv just didn't have the redirect for what ever reason .. (which worked out well)

ESPN today announced an update to its 2024-25 NBA regular-season schedule. On Wednesday, March 5, the Oklahoma City Thunder and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will visit the Memphis Grizzlies and Ja Morant at 9:30 p.m. ET on ESPN Presented by State Farm. This matchup will be subject to local blackout restrictions in the Oklahoma City market and replaces the previously scheduled broadcast of the Dallas Mavericks vs. Milwaukee Bucks game.
It was on Direct TV, Fanduel SO for me. I tried it on ESPN but was blacked out so I went back.
It was blacked out for me on ESPN on Cox in Warr Acres but I have Fanduel on Cox so I just watched it there. Same about the 30 for 30 on ESPN when the game was on.
Everyone out tomorrow vs Portland. Rest up for the two big games vs Denver. Sga, JDub, Hartestein, Wallace OUT Chet Questionable
