Thread: donut shops

    Default donut shops

Whats with the donut shops that have been opening across the nation? I thought it slowed down but there are still a lot of locations opening.for lon I couldn't imagine there would be enough consumers to keep these shops opened for long but they are still here and seem to be doing well. They have been expanding again and I'm thinking the market will be saturated this time. Whats your take on this?

    Everybody loves donuts.

    Especially apple fritters.

If you poll city residents - doesn't matter which city - they'll always tell you they need to improve police protection.

And what better way to encourage the police?

It is rather ironic, considering the fact that we're supposed to be losing a million pounds, not gaining. But, I do love a good doughnut, I must confess.

My husband stops at Clark's Bakery on 39th in downtown Bethany almost every morning and has a chocolate covered cinnamon roll and a cup of coffee and talks to the other men at the guy table.

I haven't noticed any new shops opening up personally.

I have worshipped at the Temple of Clark's Pastry for years! Oh, the joy of their thumbprint cookies. They finally priced themselves out of my league though. It's easier to make a batch of my killer brownies.

I do love to sit in Clark's though, it's like a time machine.

Estes Park, Colorado has a killer donut shop. I haven't been there in years, but it was run by a German, completely authentic, and there's something about donuts at high altitude in the crisp air. Oh yum.
