    The recently-closed Johnnies at 13900 N. May is set to become Noodles & Dumplings, a small chain of a dozen locations in Texas.

    I drive by there daily and this week I've found myself echoing Joey Tribbiani in the last scene from Friends...."was it always.....red....?". Apparently I'm not losing my mind and the building has been painted.

    Yes, actually 😂 Just drove by and was curious. Saw they had their signs up and an 'opening soon' banner underneath.

    Is this place open? We tried to go to lunch there today and it was closed.

    This location is still listed on their website, complete with online ordering.

    I drive by it almost everyday and the parking lot is usually full. I haven't eaten there yet but I plan to soon.

    I went there for a soft opening a while ago and I thought the food was excellent. I will go back for sure.
