    Default Suggestions for Vietnamese restaurants?

Title says it, looking for Vietnamese places in OKC. Any suggestions for me?

    TIA!

Riviere Banh Mi, Pho Lien Hoa, and Pho 54 are in my usual rotation depending on my location. But there are a lot of options in the metro. You will probably end up with a dozen different recommendations. Hope you're hungry!

Pho Lien Hoa is my favorite. I grew up on the food at Lido. If you are looking for a variety of Vietnamese foods Lee’s Sandwiches has a lot more than just sandwiches. All of these are in the Asian District.

VII Asian bistro is my current favorite, and I have tried almost all of them. Like BBQ joints Pho restaurants get good and can fade off over time, so it is good to keep an open mind to changing your Pho mainstays

Pho Cuong has the best pho imo

If you are on the south side, we really like Bistro B. Great spring rolls.

Where are you from? I'm from California and lived near a huge Vietnamese population so when moving here the selections were quite underwhelming but with that I haven't been in quite a while (before Pandemic) but with that I'm seeing some new suggestions that I didn't know about before so I'll give it another try soon.

OKC has some cuisines that are quite underwhelming (Italian and seafood), but I’m shocked you thought that about Vietnamese.

    In no particular order...

    Quoc Bao
    Pho Lien Hoa
    Pho Coung
    Non La Cafe
    Lido
    VII
    Golden Phoenix

If you know what you are getting into you can have a great meal at all of these places. I left off Lee's (chain) and Rivere (expensive/not super authentic) they both have some good offerings though.

This is probably the best place in town., but the problem is that’ it isn’t a IYKYK place anymore and now the wait for a table can get stupid long

Everyone has already named some of the best. Cafe Ti Bo at NW164th and Penn is also incredible and nobody talks about it.

Honestly there are lots of good places on classen but the real secret is get in good with someone who is Vietnamese who’s mom has the kitchen set up in the garage. My ex gf’s mom had some real talent. She’d be out there day and night with a giant pot on the burner. She made enough to feed a small army. She (had 9 kids) her peanut sauce and summer rolls were damn. A man could get fat going over there.. the banh boa was crazy. I was 165 back then.. ( my fighting weight is 135 for context) don’t miss the girl but I’ll be damned if I don’t miss the mom and her brothers

I was going to post this same restaurant. We have been very pleased with the food we've gotten there. Their Bahn Mi is really good. Their hours are a little wonky, so best to check, if driving any distance.

It's all relative to one's experience. Once I was eating at a Vietnamese restaurant with someone from Asia and I exclaimed how great the food was and they said, "meh". So it's all relative to what you've experienced before.

Pho Cuong - I thought this place was even better than some of the pho I had when I was visiting Vietnam, and there was excellent pho there.
Lang's Bakery - Excellent banh mi, and her rice and noodle dishes are pretty good, too. Cash only.
Paris Banh Mi - It's in Edmond, but also delicious.
Bistro B - Only place I've found that makes a fish banh mi. Everything here is pretty good. (Salted lemonade... just like in Saigon.)

I like Pho Thai Nguyen. They are one of the few places a vegetarian like me can have noodle soup as the have a vegan broth.
