Even if I didn't like it personally seeing how busy it was in Rockwall Texas, it is clear it would be a major Success in OKC.
Braums?? Someone at work told me that Braums burgers were good and at a good price. I tried it but way too salty for me. Even at a cheap price, which I love, it's not something for me to return to get. I am not from here (OKC) and have lived a lot of places in the US including California and every local has their own palette and based on some of the most popular places I've been in OKC I feel ppl here like it heavy on the salt. Having said that I really do like Raising Cane's every once in a while.
There is also Sharky's which is similar to La Salsa and the others, and I thought it was the best of the bunch.
El Pollo Loco is the California chain I'd most like to see here. It's all very fresh, not fried, and some tasty and healthy menu options. I love the combo of grilled chicken and the big salsa bar.
A couple of years ago EPL announced they were looking at OKC, but crickets ever since.
I do find it strange we don't have a Shake Shack here as well. Those do pretty well in Dallas.

Yes, there is always loyalty and nostalgia to factor in.
I never thought much of Whataburger and when I moved back I tried it again since there is such an avid following. I much prefer In-n-Out and I suspect it's due to the many positive associations I had with it over 25 years. Many road trips up and down the West Coast, storming in there with friends after a late night out, etc.
Whataburger was fantastic when I was a kid/teenager, but they have kinda devolved to average for me. Don't go there very often TBH so maybe that's not a fair assessment. I have only been to the In and Out in Ontario CA and it was very good
For me Garage makes a darned good burger but their fries stink. Braum's is decent too.
I don’t hate the fries at Garage, but lately I’ve switched to onion rings and I’m feeling pretty good about the change
In-N-Out is just a ridiculously consistent, fresh, cheap experience. It's hard to beat an Animal Style Double Double and their fries are always fresh and good. I have learned that the fries really need to be eaten fresh. You put any time on them and they aren't great. I think it's because they are actually so fresh and don't have any processing on them so that's why they don't hold up to time.
I love Braum's but it can be hit or miss with locations. Living in Florida now I can tell you I sure do miss Braum's.
Whataburger is consistently one of my favorites but with a caveat. I've found that I enjoy it MUCH MORE when I order a double meat JUNIOR burger instead of one of their normal sized burgers. The ratios on meat/toppings/buns comes out so much better and makes it a far better burger to me. Just my opinion. Oh, and I have found the same with Braum's as I order the 1/6th pound burger instead and sometimes double it up rather than getting the full sized burgers.
Here in Central Florida we don't have ANY of these mentioned and I miss them. We DO have a brand new Culver's next to the new house and they are very good so far, service and food. We also have a Sonic very close and so far the food from there has been VERY good, which warms my Okie heart, for sure. Their new Smasher burgers are pretty good.
We had Whataburger in Jacksonville we would go to when we lived in SE Georgia so that was nice, but JAX is the furthest into Florida they go at the moment, so I'm hoping they expand to the Orlando/Tampa area soon. No way I'm ever counting on getting a Braum's (given their radius policy) or an In-N-Out so those will just have to be things I enjoy when I'm back in OKC or Dallas.
Something extended like that might be ransomware.
My favorite fast food burger is Culver’s. Wish we had a couple in Oklahoma. My last experience at an In-N-Out was in suburban Las Vegas. The burger was not as good as I remembered and the location I visited was actually surprisingly unclean.
The only other times I’ve dined at In-N-Out was in San Francisco and it was quite good.
The only Shake Shack I visited was the original Danny Meyer location in Madison Square Park. It was exceptional but I have heard the other locations are hit or miss.
